Finger Joint for Construction Wood

We need to know first what is meant by finger joint and the reason that these constructions so beloved by the (mainly) the furniture manufacturer with production capacity of medium-scale upward. Wooden extension connections typically use pen & holes, dowel or with barbed tongue. In wood construction with a small size is less than optimal. Equipment

4. At least 2 sides of the wood should be cut / planed a smooth surface.
5. The pressure exerted on connect time does not need too much. The important end of finger joint has been connected properly.
Construction
