Pigmented and Stain Color

Consumers typically will only mention the color or the nature of the furniture finishing their message rather than the types of finishing what they want to use. What is the color of a desired finishing wood fiber will close or just wander, the difference is a type of finishing materials and application methods. Two types of dye based on the nature of the closure in finishing the work piece surface is stain color or pigmented color.

Pigmented Color
Small particles of this color is close to total media finishing applications. at a certain thickness of finishing materials will close the work piece surface so that the wood fibers are not visible, and change color according to the color pigment used. Deco paint, paint terms that may often you hear is one example of finishing materials with a pigmented color.
Pigment is closing a total surface underneath. Some examples of materials and types are finishing with paint pigment deco, metallic paint, wall paint. Although on the same material finishing (eg melamik) there is the type of color pigment dye or stain. Color pigments are commonly used in melamik is dark colors like black, dark gray or dark brown.

Stain Color
This stain are absorbed together with finishing materials so that the effect is the transparency color. Wood fiber can still be seen clearly if we use the method of staining with the stain color. The thicker the layer of color applied to the work piece will only make the color become darker finish but do not close 'wood grain'.
Pigmented color must be mixed together with good finishing material base layer or further layer, while the color stain can be applied at two different stages. The first time before the first layer, namely when the timber is still 'raw' or mixed with finishing materials. Color stain can be applied to the wood surface by brush, cloth, or spray directly. In this way the color would soak into the wood fibers and is more easily generated color setting.
In coloration with stain with a mixed coating materials, preferably (recommended) mixture performed at the basic level a bit, then added to the middle layer. Not recommended to mix the dye layer on the end.

Furthermore, the choice of materials according to the nature its 'covering' the work piece is your choice. Pigmented lacquer good if the value of the aesthetic object or work less well in other words, color, wood fiber and wood there are too many defects. Because type material, pigmented lacquer is more expensive than lacquer stain. And if the wood fiber and has a nice color, the stain lacquer will be better as although it will give a little color 'imagined', wood fibers will remain visible.
