Types of Wood for Furniture

Any expensive price, wooden furniture still remains to be excellent. These natural materials can give the impression of natural. Especially if the designs interesting, certainly more interesting furniture.

Indeed many people are so like wood furniture. However, not many people know the types of wood used as main material.

1. Solid Wood
Intact wood that was not formed from the joint or combined, it is called with solid wood. There are also some who call it the Jepara wood. Prices tend to be expensive solid wood. Which includes among other solid wood, teak, sungkai, nyatoh, and teak dutch.

2. Plywood
We also know the title of plywood with plywood or multiplex. In accordance with its name, plywood sheets are formed from several layers of wood. 3. Wood particles (particle board)

4. MDF (Medium Density fiberboard)
MDF is made from wood pulp mixed with certain chemicals. Manner similar to making wood particles. MDF wood material processed wood is not resistant to water and humidity. For regions that have high humidity, you should not use MDF wood. MDF has many kinds of wood finishes to choose from. You can coating with thin slices of wood (veneer), or coating paper. Various types of wood finishes for MDF is also available in various colors and textures.  Available natural wood grain patterns, or other texture to taste.

5. Blockboard
Other wood types are block board. Wooden blocks measuring 4cm-5cm compacted using the machine. After it was given a coating, resulting eventually in the form of sheets as a plank of wood. Block board have two choices of thickness, 15mm and 18mm. It costs tend to be cheaper than solid wood.
