Using the Right hammer
Hammer is the most functional hand tool than others. To determine the point

Ball hammer

- Use the right type of chisel for the job you are doing. There are 3 types
of cross chisel with different functions.
1. Wide cross-section specifically for cleaning / leveling the surface;
2. Trapezoidal cross-section to make a hole or groove;
3. Beams cross-section to make deep holes in the pen.
- Always keep sharpening chisels. A good sharpening angle is 25 degrees, and
the corner sharpness (chisel tip) ideal 30 degrees.
- Do not ever try to cut too much or too deep. This work could lead to a
broken chisel and risk to safety.
- Always tie the work piece at a table or desk using a clamp and note that
the position of clamp does not interfere with the work process.
In a safe manner:
- Always hold the chisel at the back and always keep the both hand position
on the back of the hand carving.
- Tie the work piece using clamps so do not move.
- Always position your feet on the floor.
- Close the cover / safety sharp chisel when is not in use.
- Always wear safety glasses when working with a chisel to avoid splinters.
- Never place or store your chisels in pocket.
- Use a chisel to carve wood, not to open the screw or nail leverage.
